I’m a bit late in posting this up but I took the photo below a while back. Anyway, its nice to see electric tricycles and jeeps on the streets of Taguig. At least it’s one step closer to achieving an eco friendly city. I’m amazed at how quiet they are and how fast they can go – quite acceptable within the city. I hope the other cities will follow soon.

I personally haven’t tried riding on one but I do have plans to try them out soon. I hope Makati follows soon and also the rest of the country.
In an article posted on philstar.com, Mayor Tinga said that the its like 20 pesos worth of electricity vs 200 pesos for gas. Incredible savings – just 10% if that were true. I think it is.
