So Forever 21 at SM makati is now open. It’s not a surprise that the wifey would like to spend a day shopping there. So that means I’m free to explore.

First thing I did with all this free time? Check out the foodcourt what else. In fairness, SM foodcourt is now more diverse, there’s japanese, korean, vietnamese and thai food stalls.

I tried out the Sen Lek Thai food stall and ordered the pad thai. Good size serving for just 90 pesos. Wowow! Masarap sya ah.

Anyway, here’s a really cheap and affordable place to just get passed that churros craving.  One can argue that this is not the best or not even authentic and I won’t disagree a whole lot BUT for Php35 – its ok!

One order gets you 5 mini churros rings and a chocolate dip – all for 35 bucks.  The chocolate tastes like your old school ricoa goya chocolate – big hit for kids.  Its too sweet but works great with the churros which is a bit salty if you ask me – use your imagination.  Bottom line, for  the price – I wouldn’t mind having this as a snack.

They also have other flavors and I might try their ice blends next time.

• cinnamon
• mocha
• and of course original

Its located on the 3rd floor of Market market – its a small food cart / stall in front of the escalators.

Here’s a picture of the food cart located just outside food choices in Glorieta 4, Makati.

For those of you who have not heard of Penny Brown – they’re a small desserts bar that serves up great cookies and ice cream. A smacker is an ice cream sandwich. The ice cream placed in between 2 cookies – mmmMMmm… remember the eskimo sandwich?
The new smacker that goes for 20 pesos is way smaller than the standard sized cookies. But it goes a long way – 3 of these babies and your good to go.

That’s the hand of Biscotti Monster.

But wait, there’s more! Hahaha.. Nah, I just wanted to point out that you can use 2 different cookies as your bun. Sweet-ah!
