I think Jollibee scored good on this one. I remember having conversations about a burger like this before and now its real. Hahaha. A classic burger pattie between two golden baked hashbrowns. Must try at least once in my book. Goes well with the kiddie spaghetti. Hehe. Might try it with rice sometime.in the future.

So where do you run to if you just woke up hungry and can’t decide what to have for breakfast? First thing you do is google brunch buffet in makati and you’ll probabaly hit a few blogs talking about BFast, located at ayala triangle.

For 288 bucks, let them surprise you with what their brunch specials for the day. Today was surprisingly good, nilaga for soup, paella, bagoong fried rice, longga burger, 2 kinda of longga pasta, kick ass omelette and many more. Comes with refillable iced tea.

Monster rating: Sulit.

Oh and the place boasts of being green, recycled materials and all. Nice.

This little monster is called the longga pizza. You can tell that the crust is hand made and it was delish!

Great with manila beer. Met or is it Mets, Sports bar is located inside Metroclub just outside of rockwell.  Check it out. Cheers!

Remember tuna paella in a can? I spotted a new one but this time it comes from CDO. Its roughly around 30 pesos and has two variants as far as I know. Caldereta and adobo. I tried the caldereta. If you sorta kinda like the tuna paella’s the first hit the grocery stands, you might like this too. Sticky weird textured rice. Might! Anyway, “real” meat always tastes different if it comes from a can so get that in your head. Overall, decent enough to bring on a camping trip. Will it be part of my regular grocery list from now on? Mmmaybe not.

First of all, Im a huge fan. Been eating there since Bf pa lang and also sa may lasalle. I also got excited when I heard that a branch was about to open in makati, near malugay.

I tried it out today and am still a fan of the tapsilog and pares. Sarap! But when I asked for chilli oil, buti na lang I watched where the waiter got it. From a pile of dirty dishes, the waiter got a bowl and poured the contents to a new saucer and served it to us. Tsk tsk. Tumayo balahibo ko and of course I freaked out, stood up and verified that indeed it was from a pile of dirty dishes.

I’m pretty sure that this is not how you really do things coz I’ve been enjoying your food for years and the chilli oil was normally on the table already.

I do appreciate the fact that my concerns were addressed immediately (i hope) when i called the head office.

Thanks and good luck. From now on, I think I’ll just grab a take out and use my own chilli oil coz I’m sure I’ll still crave for that tapsilog one day.
